Canam Pipe & Supply Take Part In The Indonesia Tsunami Relief Project
In December 2004 disaster rolled through Indonesia in the form of a massive Tsunami, leaving in it’s wake massive destruction and devastation to many lives.
In the aftermath of the destruction a Tsunami Relief Project was developed to assist in rebuilding of homes and schools in Indonesia.
Between May 2005 & August 2006 Canam Pipe & Supply made several donations to Nations Energy, a privately owned, oil exploration and production company operating in Kazakhstan, in support of their efforts to establish the NIAS School in the tourist regions of Indonesia.
This was brought on as assistance in helping this community rebuild itself after the devastation of the Tsunami which struck this region.
As you can see below, it was a worth while cause and of great value to the local people.
Canam Pipe & Supply are proud to have assisted in this rebuilding project.
Canam Pipe & Supply exhibits at the 14th Annual Kazakhstan International Oil & Gas Exhibition(KIOGE) held in the former capital Almaty, October 03-06 2006.
This annual event involved over 400 companies from 37 countries. Over 16,000 trade visitors were attending the Exhibition and conferences during the four days.
KIOGE has grown at an incredible rate over the past 14 years and has helped to introduce more than 5,000 companies into Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry.
Canam was represented by Kevin Mooney, President, along with staff from Canam Pipe & Supply LLP Kazakhstan, including Tulegen Kalau - General Manager Almaty, and Amir Alpiyev - Sales Manager Almaty, as well as Ron Brilz – PCP Consultant for Canam Pipe & Supply.
Canam has established new strong relationships and contacts with clients in the Caspian region and, following the success of last year'sexhibition, and is prepared for continued success in 2007 and beyond.
KIOGE 2006 was also the platform for Canam to launch our “Twister” progressing cavity ( PCP ) pumping system. Please see more information regarding our “Twister” PCP system in the next news section below.

October 03/06 Canam Pipe & Supply launched their “Twister” progressing cavity ( PCP ) pumping system at the KIOGE 2006 oil show in Almaty Kazakhstan.
The launch of our PCP system was a great success and drew interest from our many current clients as well as potential clients.
Our PCP assembly consists of our TW 1000 Drive System, available in a range of from 10–50 HP, plus our line of Progressive Cavity Pumps (PCP) in either an “EvenWall” or Standard design, covering a wide range of models and sizes.
In addition to our Drive System, Canam Pipe & Supply has available additional accessories to make up your complete PCP System including : Integrated Pumping Tee ( IPT ), Stuffing Box, Torque Anchor, Rod Centralizers, Sucker Rods, Pony Rods, Polished Rods, Rod Clamps, as well as Variable Frequency Drives ( VFD ).

Canam Pipe & Supply Sign A Representative Agreement With Dalipal Pipe Company
October 2006 Canam Pipe & Supply signed an representative agreement with Dalipal Pipe Company for the supply of their API casing, & tubing as well as their casing & tubing couplings.
Dalipal Pipe Company are an API Spec. 5CT licensed manufacture located in Changzhou City, Hebei Province, China. They currently have a yearly production of approximately 200,000 tons of OCTG and 80,000 tons in heat-treated OCTG. Dalipal owns some of the most advanced digital controlled lathe and machining equipment in the world. In addition they also have some of the most advance heat treatment technology available in China.
Dalipal’s quality procedures are certified to GB/T9001-2000-ISO9001:2000 Standards.
